Ubisoft Annecy to handle Assassin’s Creed III multiplayer
Studio behind Brotherhood and Revealtions to once again handle the reins.
After doing a more than decent job on Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood and Revelations, Ubisoft has brought back its Annecy studio to work on the multiplayer for Assassin’s Creed III.
The news comes courtesy of designer Tim Browne, who updated his Twitter and LinkedIN pages to note that he is the Lead Game Designer on the new installment and is working for Ubisoft Annecy.
Browne previously worked for Codemasters as the designer on the tactical first-person shooters Operation Flashpoint: Red River and Dragon Rising.
Very little is know about Aassassin’s Creed III’s multiplayer except that it may feature a co-op mode. Online multiplayer modes are expected, as usual. It’s out on October 30 for the PC, PS3 and Xbox 360.
