Crytek revealing “spectacular” new project in April
German studio praises unannounced secret title saying it’s “absolutely fantastic”.
Nick Button-Brown, general manager of games at Crytek, has boasted that the company’s next project is looking rather “spectacular.” Apparently the secret unannounced game will be unveiled in April.
“A big part of our business is big budget console and PC games,” Button-Brown told CVG.
“We still want to deliver the highest quality that we can, wherever we go. You know about Homefront, you know about Ryse. We are working on another project… [laughs] all three of which are looking really good.”
Speaking about the third project, he added: “The other project looks absolutely fantastic – I mean, genuinely the best of that kind of project we’ve ever done.
“It looks spectacular, the team are doing really, really well and it’s just really nice to see the team really enthusiastic about what they’re doing. They’re really happy.”
Internet gossips suggest that Crytek and EA are working together on a new game. Could it be Crysis 3? Or perhaps the next installment in the TimeSplitters series?
