Cross-platform compatibility with PC version also revealed.
A PlayStation Vita version of Phantasy Star Online 2 has been confirmed.
In addition, it has been revealed that the MMORPG will feature support for cross-platform play between the handheld version as well as the forthcoming PC release of the game. This, as stated by SEGA, will allow players to continue their progress with the same character on either platform. Neat!
Developed by Sonic Team, Phantasy Star Online 2 will be published by SEGA and currently has a rather vague release date of 2013.
