Valve today said its anticipated online shooter, Counter Strike: Global Offensive, will release in Summer 2012. The developer has not committed to a specific date, which keeps the release wide open. Apparently, Valve considers September as ‘summer’ too, technically.
The game will ship with new maps, new gameplay modes, leaderboards, and what seems like crowbar as a weapon. What, don’t believe us? Well, just check out the screens below:
