Top Cow artist and co-creator of The Darkness comic series, Marc Silvestri hopes 2K Games will continue developing more games based on the adventures of Jackie Estacado.

In an interview with IGN, Silvestri said he has his “fingers crossed” for receiving “that” call from 2K.

“We at Top Cow are, of course, hoping to continue the video game adventures of Jackie Estacado and his, um friend,” said Silvestri. “If we get that call from 2K it’ll be a great day for us…so fingers are crossed.

He also hinted on developing more games based on Top Cow stories, but divulge into details.

“As for more games pulled from the Top Cow universe well… that would be spoiling the surprise, wouldn’t it?”

The Darkness II had the most amazing gameplay and visual style, but fell short on narrative and level design. We would definitely like to see more of Jackie and limb-ripping demon friends, only if they chop of the bad guys of game design.
