Irrational Games today said its awaited prequel, Bioshock Infinite, will arrive in stores on October 16 (international release on October 19). The game will be out on the PC, Xbox 360 and PS3.
“After BioShock, we had a vision for a follow up that dwarfed the original in scope and ambition,” said Ken Levine. “BioShock Infinite has been our sole focus for the last four years, and we can’t wait for fans to get their hands on it.”
Bioshock has usually stayed away from the ‘packed months’, with the original releasing in the comforts of August, and the sequel in the silence of February. Bioshock Infinite however, joins the rush-hour of the year, making it interesting to what releases around it.
