Sony has revealed a smashing surprise for you out there with the PlayStation 3; Killzone 3’s multiplayer portion will be available to download without having to pay a cent via PSN.
Though, here’s the catch; as stated in the company’s latest Blogcast, the free download will feature a level cap that will stop players from reaching a certain rank and thus unlock newer weapons / skills. As of now, it’s unspecified when leveling up limitation shows.
However, there is always a paid option. $14.99 what is needed if you want to avoid the limitations put in the free version.
Mark your calendars for February 28, the date it hits the PlayStation Network in the US. It follows at a later date in Europe.
