Medal of Honor: Warfighter will be EA’s big military FPS this year. The long-running shooter series will return again on a familiar schedule that spawned numerous shooters for the game publishing giant – October.

Developer Danger Close will be fully involved in the sequel, and as previous reports suggested, the new Medal of Honor will be built using the Frostbite 2 tech, the same engine that powered Battlefield 3. DICE, however, the Battlefield folks who worked on the multiplayer for the first (rebooted) Medal of Honor, won’t be on duty again, but Danger Close will accordingly craft both modes, as mentioned by Game Informer.

The reveal site had the first art work posted for the game – nothing groundbreaking, just a soldier with a gun. No other details were mentioned, but looks EA is aiming to have a full-blown reveal next month during the Game Developer’s Conference in San Francisco.
