Assassin’s Creed III releasing in October
Ubisoft confirms next chapter indeed unfolding this year.
Ubisoft confirmed today that Assassin’s Creed III is indeed coming out this year, revealing that the series’ next chapter is set to unfold on October 30.
“We will push the title a lot because it’s a fantastic product that the team has been working for three years,” said CEO Yves Guillemot. “What we have seen is just fabulous.”
Late October is quite an unusual date to Assassin’s Creed – the franchise that had traditionally released in November. Unfortunately, that’s all we got for now as the publisher didn’t give out more details.
Elsewhere, Ubisoft stated that Assassin’s Creed: Revelations has shipped nearly seven million copies since its release in November 2011. A firm sell-through figure was not mentioned.
