Black Ops has the best ending of all time, according to Guinness survey
13,000 gamers issue their verdict.
Military shooter Call of Duty: Black Ops was picked for having the greatest ending of all time – that is in the entire history of videogaming. Ooooh! That is sure to cause a serious stir among the industry. But fear not, the verdict comes from a mere 13,000 people chosen to fill a survey conducted by Guinness World of Records.

Black Ops, surprisingly, according to the votes of the 13,000 individual, didn’t only manage to outpace other Call of Duty titles, but it also dethroned a mammoth of other story-driven titles with single player-focused modes, from the likes of Metal Gear Solid, Final Fantasy, Half-Life and a host of so many more games that would occupy a huge chunk of space if we name them all.
The game with the second best ending is apparently Xbox 360-exclusive Halo: Reach, which admittedly, I thought it had a memorable ending. Other games that made it to the top 50 include Nintendo’s iconic title, The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, as well as the entire Assassin’s Creed anthology. The entire list is attached below; nevertheless, what game caught your attention and thought it had an excellent ending? Let us know in the comments below.
