Sony confirms LittleBigPlanet Karting
Non-formal announcement made on Twitter; publisher promises to share more info soon.
Sony has confirmed the existence of a new project in the LittleBigPlanet franchise, although not giving out details on the game, the company revealed via Twitter that it’s a racing spin-off game currently in development titled LittleBigPlanet Karting.
“Update: We can confirm that LittleBigPlanet Karting is in fact in development and we look forward to sharing more on the game soon!” tweeted the Sony Twitter account.
It is believed that critically acclaimed developer United Front, the studio best known for creating ModNation Racers, is currently onboard working on the new game. Also internet chatters suggest that the game will be Move and 3D compatible, which shouldn’t be surprising knowing that the majority of Sony’s first-party titles make use of both features.
