While the original Alan Wake is currently on track for release on PC, and Xbox Live Arcade title Alan Wake’s American Nightmare will follow soon after, little is known whether or not Finnish developer Remedy wants to continue with the franchise.

From the words of company boss Matias Myllyrinne, the developer is planning more Alan Wake games. Though, they’re not sure what the next game will be, with the studio currently focused on rolling out Alan Wake PC, then XBLA title, American Nightmare.

“We’ll certainly continue with Wake,” Myllyrinne told Joystiq. “Right now we’re focusing on getting the PC out next week, then getting American Nightmare out. And it’s too early to talk about what our next move is, but we’ve obviously put things into motion.”

Remedy’s Alan Wake PC is planned for release on February 16; downloadable spin-off American Nightmare hits XBLA on February 22.

Other than his excessively biased enthusiasm toward gaming, and technology behind the whole industry, there's a huge fondness inside that drives him nuts to pick up his keyboard and start writing for the love of it.
