BioWare wants you to keep your Mass Effect 3 saves
Just in case.
Mass Effect 3 maybe the end of the trilogy, but it doesn’t mean you should give up on the franchise, or it’s story, or more importantly, it’s save files.
Speaking to Gamerzine, BioWare’s Mike Gamble suggested fans to save their game files somewhere safe, just in case.
“It wouldn’t be a bad idea (to keep your ME3 saves). Obviously I can’t say anything, but it wouldn’t be a bad idea…”
It doesn’t mean a Mass Effect 4 is in the works, though it could be possible. Or maybe the save files have a terrible virus that will end the world on the prophesied date of December 21, 2012, as RPS suggested. Maybe the code in the save file has become self-aware, and it needs the millions of consoles and PC systems in order survive?
Who knows. All we can hope is that it is not a lazy spin-off title, handled by another developer, and shipped at full price.
