Hot Shots Golf 6 is Vita’s first game to sell 100k copies

Proves Japan still loves the franchise.
According to Japanese publication Dengeki Online, Hot Shots Golf 6 is the first PlayStation Vita title to reach the 100k milestone, selling exactly 107,000 copies to date.
While some folks might find it rather shocking that a Gold game is the best-selling title on Sony’s new portable console, in fact, Hot Shots Golf 6 did prove strong since it made its debut alongside the PS Vita, with the Sony-published title topping the charts since day one.
Nevertheless, Hot Shots Golf is an immensely popular franchise in Japan, so it comes at a no surprise seeing the golf title racking up good numbers on the PlayStation Vita.
