Activision has released a single screen shot from its upcoming The Amazing Spider-Man video game. The screen grab doesn’t feature anything ground-shatteringly exciting, but it does look promising. The visuals looks refined and sharp, and the world looks every bit as open world, web-swing-tastic as it should be. Have a look:
The game will serve as an epilogue to the film of the same (which is releasing sometime this year). Developer Beenox confirmed that the game will go back to its open world roots, allowing players to freely swing around Manhattan. The story is penned by Seamus Kevin Fahey and will feature “a variety of criminals”.
