Rumor: Assassin’s Creed 3 to set during American Revolution
New installment to feature new protagonist.
The next Assassin’s Creed will be based during the American Revolution, CVG has learnt.
Their source, who claims to be ‘close to the project’, also says that the new installment will feature a new protagonist. Apparently, Ubisoft is set to announce the game before March 31.
The American Revolution was first hinted in Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood’s ‘Da Vinci Disappearance’ DLC, which pointed players to a set of coordinates located somewhere in New York, USA.
Ubisoft also dropped two more hints: one came during the climax of Assassin’s Creed: Revelations, which showed a picture of the Earth with a flash of light ‘moving’ towards USA.
The other was when the publisher issued a survey asking fans where they would like the next Assassin’s Creed to go next. One of the options was, “”The confrontation between British colonists and native Americans during The American Revolution.”
This is only a rumor, so take it with a pinch of salt. Where would you like the new Assassin’s Creed to go next? Sound off in our comments section below.
