Book publisher Del Rey has announced Hitman: Damanation, a novel based between the events of 2006′s Hitman: Blood Money and the upcoming adventure of Agent 47, Hitman: Absolution.

The book will be penned by Raymond Benson, a famous spy-writer, and also the fourth official James Bond novelist. The story will follow Agent 47 on his mission to take out various American political figures. But like any good thriller, the events will quickly go haywire, with our bald assassin being thrust into a “web of lies, deceit, and murder.” Just a typical day for him, I guess.

The book is set to shelves this summer. No specific date yet.
