We announced our choice of the Game of the Year awards last year, and also gave you, our readers, the chance to vote for your favorite games and make them win in our first ever People’s Choice Awards! Well, the voting has ended and the results are in.

Unsurprisingly, Bethesda’s Skyrim took the crown and the cake, winning both Best RPG and Game of the Year awards, proving once again the massive fan following of the franchise in the Middle East. What did surprise us was the awards for the Best Shooter and Best Online Multiplayer, both of which went to Battlefield 3. Even though Call of Duty is a bigger name, it did not even come close to DICE’s gorgeous shooter in terms of votes.

Well, all the winners are below. How many of your favorites made it?
