Creative launches new Sound Blaster goodness in the Middle East
Goes high on 3D Surround and console support.
Creative today unveiled it’s new wicked lineup of Sound Blaster series headphones and sound processors in a press meet in Dubai. The “next-generation” gaming headsets are based on Creative’s popular and well received Tactics3D series, which we found to be pretty darn amazing.
The new lineup also marks Creative’s foray into producing console-specific headsets, a market which is championed by the likes of Turtle Beach, Tritton, Steelseries, etc.
“In our research, we have found that console [headset] outsell the demand for PC, which is why Creative is now focusing on that market,” said regional marketing manager Eric Loong.
The headsets introduces two new technologies: Sound Core3D, a “low power, high performance” sound processor that integrates digital signal processor, HD audio digital-to-analog converters and analog-to-digital converters on one chip; and Scout Mod, which enhances ambiance, environmental sound and sound positioning to a great extent.
