Creative today unveiled it’s new wicked lineup of Sound Blaster series headphones and sound processors in a press meet in Dubai. The “next-generation” gaming headsets are based on Creative’s popular and well received Tactics3D series, which we found to be pretty darn amazing.

The new lineup also marks Creative’s foray into producing console-specific headsets, a market which is championed by the likes of Turtle Beach, Tritton, Steelseries, etc.

“In our research, we have found that console [headset] outsell the demand for PC, which is why Creative is now focusing on that market,” said regional marketing manager Eric Loong.

The headsets introduces two new technologies: Sound Core3D, a “low power, high performance” sound processor that integrates digital signal processor, HD audio digital-to-analog converters and analog-to-digital converters on one chip; and Scout Mod, which enhances ambiance, environmental sound and sound positioning to a great extent.
