The House of the Dead 3 & 4 confirmed for PSN
Arcade shooter out this year featuring trophies and PS Move support.
Both classic shoot ‘em up-zombies affairs from SEGA, The House of the Dead 3 and 4, will be available for purchase starting early this year on PlayStation Network.
According to SEGA, House of the Dead 3 will first release on February 7 – the sequel follows later in spring. Both games will take advantage of PS3’s HD capabilities, will feature trophies, as well as full PlayStation Move support.
“The House of the Dead has always been one of SEGA’s most popular series, and over the years we have worked hard to bring that full arcade experience to console owners,” said Haruki Satomi, senior vice president of Digital Business at SEGA of America. “The abilities of the PlayStation 3, as well as PlayStation Move, have let us get closer than ever before. The only thing these titles are missing is a need for quarters.”
House of the Dead 3 struck arcades in 2002, and was later released on Xbox and Wii. Meanwhile, House of the Dead 4, launched on arcades in 2005, never seen the light of day on consoles – until today’s news.
