That includes the paid and free spin-offs.
Rovio has revealed that Angry Birds has racked up a massive 6.5 million downloads on Christmas.
The revealed figure is split between Android and iOS platforms. Downloads included the original game, Seasons and Rio, as well as both paid and free iterations.
“We’re really excited to have such a massive number of new people get acquainted with Angry Birds over the holidays – we have exciting new releases lined up for 2012, and can’t wait to introduce them to the public,” Rovio’s Ville Heijari told AllThingsD.
An astounding three times the downloads of 2010 is what the unstoppable bird-flinging-destroy-them-pigs have garnered if it is to be compared with this year’s finale achievement.
