One of the most annoying things about the last few PES games is the online system. The game had you logging on your PC to register your ID, get on your system to enter a code, and then re-enter the code to play a lagged filled online game of football. I just noticed how horrible of an experience that was while typing that last sentence!

Well, finally, Konami noticed that the system is made of fail and decided to get rid of it and use a more user friendly system in this year’s version of the game. G4TV spoke with Pro Evolution Soccer 2010 producer Shingo Takatsuka at GamesCom 2009 about the issue. “

We got so many feedback from the users saying the same thing as you said,” said Takatsuka. “So, we gave up the Konami ID system.”

That is great on so many levels. First I don’t have to waste 10 minutes of my life signing up online to get an ID and second of all Konami is actually listening to users feedback! Maybe the PES series still has hope after all!!
