All major retailers, including Newgg, Amazon and Buy.com have, at once, leaked Gran Turismo 5 XL Edition, an unknown ‘edition’ of the game yet to be announced officially by Sony.
The game will release on Jan 17, according to the retailers, and will cost $39.99. No other details are known.
This edition was first mentioned in a Sony FAQ some time ago, but failed to come to notice when no further information was available.
As GTplanet speculates, the XL Edition will most probably be the Gran Turismo 5 Spec 2.0 version announced for Japan, which will feature all of the updates and DLCs out for the game.
