Pokémon + Nobunaga’s Ambition debut trailer has enchanting traditional Japanese score

Bizarre Tecmo Koei x Pokémon Company project announced for Nintendo DS.
Here’s an awkward crossover. Ever heard of the incredibly old 1983-first-released Noubunaga’s Ambition? Probably not (me neither). Most of us played/watched or poured a sort of interest in Pokémon at some point in our lives. Well, both names will be slapped together in an effort from Tecmo Koei and The Pokémon Company, bidding them a crossover release titled ‘Pokémon + Nobunaga’s Ambition’.
As the trailer reveals, the game is apparently a turn-based tactical RPG. It’s being developed for the Nintendo DS, and due for release spring 2012 in Japan.
Moreover, the game’s official site (via Andriasang) offers a sneak peek at some character combinations, listed below.
- Main Character (male) + Eevee
- Main Character (female) + Eevee
- Nobunaga + Zekrom
- Oichi + Jigglypuff (Purin)
- Mitsuhide + Articuno (Freezer)
- Shingen + Groudon
- Kenshin + Mewtwo
