SEGA has revealed that Anarchy will not Reign until July 6, 2012.

The Platinum Games developed online brawler was originally planned for release in January 2012 for both PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. So yeah, that’s a hefty push back of six months.

Commenting on the reason of the delay, senior vice president of marketing at SEGA West, Gary Knight, said, “Anarchy Reigns brings a new take to the brawler genre and we’ve decided to take a little more time to deliver the full knockout punch. I can’t reveal much now, but it’s something to do with scale. Let’s just say traditional one on one or two versus two fighters will be a thing of the past.”

Other than his excessively biased enthusiasm toward gaming, and technology behind the whole industry, there's a huge fondness inside that drives him nuts to pick up his keyboard and start writing for the love of it.
