Xbox 360s still selling in millions in the US
Microsoft’s console sells nearly twice as the Wii, 3DS.
Even after 5 years of existence, Xbox 360 still continues sell a whopping number of units in the US. According to the latest stats, Microsoft’s ageing console racked up 1.7 million units sales last month, beating it’s nearest competitor by almost a double margin.
While Sony didn’t opt to showcase its sales sheet, Nintendo however, did. The Wii sold 860,000 units in November, while the 3DS racked up 795,000 units sales, and the DS 350,000 units.
“This is the fourth consecutive month in which the Xbox 360 has been the top selling hardware system,” said NPD analyst Anita Frazier.
“The gap between 360 sales and sales of the next best selling platform was the largest we’ve seen since December 2008 when the Nintendo DS was the top selling system.”
