Chrono Trigger successfully leaped onto iOS
Classic RPG out now on the App Store.
Behold Chrono Trigger, the epic Japanese RPG from Square Enix – it’s now playable on iPhone and iPod Touch. That special treat for owners of iOS devices dwells the SNES cult hit as its first time ever to leap onto smartphones.
The iOS release is a rather port of the ported DS version, which features additional areas, such as the Dimensional Vortex and the Lost Sanctum.
Now what comes on the hefty side is the pricing itself – $9.99 is what bids a near endless time-travelling journeys with almost 30 hours of gameplay – that is considered a brutal dedication for a game on your mobile device, so I guess it justifies the price. Chrono Trigger for iOS is compatible with iPhone 3GS and newer devices. Have a look at the launch trailer below.
