Like ritual, Activision is pushing it’s developers to churn out the next Call of Duty title, and according to this job advert on Gamasutra, it seems Modern Warfare 3 co-devs Sledgehammer Games are on-board as well.

While the job description doesn’t spill it out, Sledgehammer’s ‘overview’ of themselves clearly states the recruitment is for their Call of Duty development team.

The description reads, “Sledgehammer Games is looking for an exceptional online engineer to help bring our online experience to a new level. The candidate will be involved in the creation of multiplayer game modes and online community features for an unannounced high-end console title.”

It seems that once again Sledgehammer is lending support to produce the online portion of the next COD title, with Treyarch, we assume, being at the helm.
