Uncharted series sells 13 million to date

Speaking to IndustryGamers, Sony’s Asad Quizilbash, product marketing manager for Uncharted 3, revealed that the Uncharted franchise, which comprises of three excellent installments, has sold 13 million copies globally.
The disclosed figure comes just a month after the release of the critically-acclaimed Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception, which became “the biggest selling game in the trilogy” with 3.8 million sold units on launch day.
Elsewhere, discussing the possibility of another treasure-hunting adventure, Quizilbash said. “We can’t talk about any future title releases. We will continue to make games that our consumers love experiencing.”
Fortunate PS Vita buyers in Japan will have the opportunity to grab a portable outing of Uncharted with the highly-anticipated Golden Abyss, which comes out as a launch title on December 17.
