Narrated by Jean-Francois Boivin, Production Manager at Ubisoft, this footage shows the new gameplay additions in Assassin’s Creed 2. For example, players can now hire mercenaries to distract guard posts to slip by unnoticed. Or exploit our insatiable greed for money by throwing gold coins on the ground to create a ruckus among the crowd. Players are also given a wider range of weapons to choose from, much thanks to our buddy painter and inventor Leonardo Da Vinci, such as the double hidden blades that can dispose of multiple unknowing enemies at once; the invisible wrist gun which can provide long range assassinations; and the poison darts to dispose of targets cleanly and without fuss. The video also introduces the Prince of Persia-esque ‘challenge rooms’ that will test players on acrobatics, puzzles and stealth, adding hours of additional gameplay.
