Apple created an interweb wide ruckus yesterday when it allowed BigFish, developer of small casual games, to run a subscription-based game app which allowed users to ‘stream’ unlimited number of games for a set monthly charge.

The big boys at Cupertino, however, seems to have changed their mind.

After only a day of up time, Apple yanked the app from its App Store without clarifying why to either the users, or the developers themselves.

“We were notified that the app was removed,” said Paul Thelen, founder of Big Fish in Seattle, in an interview with Bloomberg. “We’re trying to follow up with Apple to try to figure out what happened. It was officially approved.”

Apple is yet to comment on the matter.
