Rumor: EA and Ubisoft have next-gen Xbox dev kits

But they don’t comment on rumor or speculation.
According to Edge’s tipper, Ubisoft and EA are both in possession of next-gen Xbox dev-kits from Microsoft.
The source claims the devs-kits are currently only “target boxes” running custom software and components from Microsoft, and a AMD-branded GPU.
When asked, Ubisoft spun the usual, “We do not comment on rumor and speculation.”
The Xbox’s successor has been in the news for a quite bit lately, with rumors speculating from the development studios that are currently working on it to what the innards of the system might be. There is only thing we know for certain, though: Halo 4 will not be a next-gen release, as much as everyone had it would be.
