Assassin’s Creed Recollection coming “Holiday Season 2011″
Featuring a drastic deparute from the series’ gameplay
While the main Assassins Creed franchise is spread constitutes of three (and soon to be four) games, the franchise itself branches through various other titles released on handheld consoles, animated shorts, and novels. Ubisoft as announced yet another secondary title within the franhcise in the form of Asssassins Creed: Recollection, a game soon to be released for the iPad.
AC Recollection is a drastic departure from the series in the terms of gameplay; instead of the action stealth gameplay the series is known for, Recollection will take the form of a real time board game. Not much is know about the game at this point, although it looks like it involves card collecting, and “tactical political battles”, according to Ubisoft.
The game will span an 8-10 hour campgain, as well as a multiplayer mode to compete with other iPad users.
The release date has not yet been specified beyond “Holiday Season 2011″. Buyers of the game would also recieve an animated short, Assassins Creed Embers, which tells the story of the last days of Ezio Auditore.
