BioWare today confirmed that it will be releasing both single player and multiplayer demos for Mass Effect 3, giving fans a taster ahead of it’s March 6 launch next year.

The two demos will release alongside each other in January. BioWare has setup a FAQ that should answer any raised hands.

While the single player demo will be available for all, the multiplayer demo, it seems, will be limited to invite-only. As of now, there is only one sure way to get access: buying an original copy of Battlefield 3. There will be no code to reedem; every new copy associated with an EA account will automatically qualify for the beta access.

If you aren’t planning to purchase Battlefield 3, there will be other ways to get in. Details will be available in November or early December.
