Playstation Vita international release dated for February
A good three months to start saving, we guess.
At the Web 2.0 Summit in San Francisco yesterday, Sony president Jack Tretton officially confirmed February 22 as the date for the international release of Playstation Vita.
According to the EU Playstation blog, the launch date applies to the MENA region, as well as Australasia, USA, and Canada.
As revealed previously, the handheld will retail at $249 for the WiFi version, and at $299 for the 3G version.
Launch titles for the international release are still up in the air, although the official blog boasts of the 100s of titles already in development, such as Resistance: Burning Skies, Uncharted: Golden Abyss, Assassin’s Creed, FIFA, etc.
More content and updates are promised on the regional Playstaton Vita websites, found here.
