Non-iPhone 4S users, there will be a GTA III for you as well

Down and disappointed iPhone 4 users, have heart. Your favorite roam-around-and-beat-people-up simulator, Grand Theft Auto III, will be ported over to your device as well, but just not ‘soon’ or along side the obviously cooler, sharper, better looking iPhone 4S version.
Yup, Rockstar has announced that it will be bringing the handheld version of GTA III to the single-core iPhone 4 users as well, but it will be “in the future”. Considering Rockstar doesn’t really have their equivalent of the Valve Time, we have absolutely no idea what or when that is.
As for now though, the game is set to release on the iPhone 4S, and a number of Android devices such as Droid X2, HTC Evo 2, LG Optimus 2X, Motorola Atrix, Samsung Galaxy S2, Acer Iconia, Asus Eee Pad, Motorola Xoom, and Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1.
