Uncharted 3 grants access to Starhawk’s beta
Test out WarHawk’s spiritual successor earlier than everyone else.
Sony has revealed a delighting surprise for those who get their hands on Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception, saying that retail purchases of the treasure-hunting adventurer will get you an early access to Starhawk’s multiplayer beta.
Seems like Sony is following a familiar marketing trend across its major first-party titles, with Guerilla’s Killzone 3 previously being sold with voucher codes that allowed players to test out SOCOM 4.
Anyhow, the announcement was made via the PlayStation Blog, to backup Naughty Dog last week’s words that the game is complete and awaiting the publisher’s certification.
Starhawk’s beta is so far given an “early 2012” launch. Look out for the following voucher code when you purchase Uncharted 3.
