Atlus today added their share to the already overcrowded month of November by delaying its upcoming brawler, King of Fighters XIII, to the 22nd of the month. The game was original scheduled to release on October 25th.

“While fans will initially be disappointed by the news that King of Fighters XIII is slightly delayed, the additional time will ensure that the game delivers on its promise of becoming the finest entry in the series’ 15+ year history,” commented Tim Pivnicny, Vice President of Sales and Marketing at ATLUS.  ”KOF fans have tremendous expectations for this title, as do we.  Our commitment is to nothing less than the very best King of Fighters game ever, and all of our efforts and resources are dedicated to assisting developer SNK PLAYMORE to that end.”

King of Fighters XIII is headed towards the PS3 and Xbox 360, and promises optimized netcode, new moves, faster gameplay, and a roost of 30 characters.
