Yesterday, BioWare ended months of dodging and quelling speculative fire by finally announcing a release date for its awaited MMORPG, Star Wars: The Old Republic.

The supposed WoW-killer will release on December 22 in Europe, and on December 20 in the US. The pricing was also confirmed – the game will cost $14.99 (AED 55) for one month; $41.97 (AED 154) for three months; $77.94 (AED 286) for six months. Regardless, the game comes with free 30 days as a trial.

“This is an incredible moment for everyone at BioWare and our partners at LucasArts who have dedicated their lives to build this extraordinary game. We appreciate the patience from the millions of fans who have been waiting for the game’s release,” said BioWare’s Ray Muzyka.

The game will be out for the PC and in extremely limited quantities.
