God of War dev working on new IP
Job ad pinpoints to a new project in works at Sony Santa Monica.
Sony Santa Monica Studio, the developer best known for the mighty God of War franchise, is seeking new staff to work on a fresh unrevealed project.
The job ad was posted on Gamastura. It asks for a senior level designer to work an “unannounced new IP”, and notes that “experience in designing or contributing to the development of an open world game is a plus”.
Of course, that doesn’t mean the studio is beavering away from the God of War series, as rumors of a fourth outing have been long circulating around the wide web like wildfire, with telltales of a late 2012 possible release for the new entry.
Still, the job ad doesn’t specify a platform – a new PS3 title might very well be in the pipeline, but let us not forget about the PS Vita.
