Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City is no longer scheduled for release on Q4 2011.
Capcom has confirmed to Kotaku that the Slant Six-developed zombie-blaster won’t hit stores on its previously planned date this year, reassuring that it’s on track for winter.
Despite its strong presence at E3 back in June, the game mysteriously was a no show at Capcom’s rather disappointing showcase at Tokyo Game Show.
Developed for PC, PS3 and Xbox 360, Operation Raccoon City takes place during the events of Resident Evil 2 & 3 – it will give players the opportunity to make major decisions such as killing Leon S. Kennedy, Resident Evil 4’s main man.
