Gears of War 3 to get story DLC
Won’t feature the regular gang of Gears.
In an interview with The Telegraph, Cliff Blesizinski confirmed story DLC for Gears of War 3, but instead of being an extra level or two omitted out from the main camapign, it will be rather “unique”. And it won’t feature Marcus, Dom or Cole, either.
“One thing I can tell you is that you’re not going to see Marcus or Dom or Cole in it,” he said.
“I believe that DLC should be unique and cool, like Lost and the Damned, Gay Tony, Mad Moxie’s Underdome Riot. All those kind of things. DLC’s the place where you play and have fun.”
I would personally love to explore the lives of Hoffman or Bernie Mataki, but I will leave it to hope for now.
Gears of War 3 launches today for the Xbox 360. The first DLC is expected to arrive in November.
