EA’s The Godfather II is a video game based on the titular movie, the acclaimed 1974 crime drama film directed by Francis Ford Coppola. The game has been released on the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and Microsoft Windows. It’s also a sequel to The Godfather: The Game, which was also developed and published by EA in 2006.

In the game, the player’s character battle rival families and take over businesses to ultimately become a "don" ruling over many cities.

According to our sources, the UAE has banned the game. We’re waiting for further comment on why the game has been banned. Watch this space for an update.

The game has already received some amount of bad press due to a press kit which included brass knuckles.

This game was on sale for 2 days in UAE after it was releashed. I got the game at the same time, and i came to find that this game has got some nudity in some part of the city. Most probably this is the reason why this game was banned.
