Blizzard to have six releases in the next three years
By Mufaddal Fakhruddin on September 12, 2011
All “proven property”.
Blizzard’s COO Thomas Tippl said the studio will be churning out six new releases in the next three years during the Citi 2011 Technology Conference last week.
Tippl was careful with his words, stating the releases will come from “proven property” alas talks about that MMO surfaces up again.
As any Blizzard fan would tell you, the six releases will mostly consist of expansion add-ons – two for World of Warcraft, two for Starcraft II and one for Diablo III; not to forget the actual game itself.
Diablo III is currently under the “friends and family” testing phase, with a closed beta to roll out pretty soon.
