Countdown site teases a Namco x Tecmo project
Newly launched site hints at a crossover PS3 title between two Japanese studios.
A new countdown teaser page has appeared on Namco Bandai’s official site, hinting at a collaboration project between two celebrated Japanese studios – Namco Bandai (obviously) and Tecmo Koei.
The site has gone live recently. It reads “Namco Bandai Games Inc X Tecmo Koei Games Co Limited” and pinpoints via a countdown timer that a reveal is incoming almost a week from now. However, the site has been updated some hours ago to read “for PS3”.
Originally, with the word ‘START’ glued beneath the teased title, we’re betting at the obvious of it being a new brawler – the one that makes sense the most would be Dead or Alive vs. Tekken/Soul Calibur – yet again, for some reason, it could be Pac-Man vs. Dynasty Warriors. Either ways, we’ll keep you posted.
