PES 2012 getting two demos, first one arriving this week
An early taste of Konami’s footy sim kicks off this Wednesday.
In a rather surprising move, Konami revealed that two playable demos for this year’s iteration of Pro Evolution Soccer is currently planned, with the first one kicking off to PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 players this Wednesday on August 24.
The Japanese company says that its first PES 12 demo will be a mere early preview on what players should expect from the final release. It’ll offer players the opportunity to experiment with the new implemented teammate control systems, and have a glimpse at the “realism that Active AI brings to PES 2012″.
Separate individuality of each team will be supposedly showcased in the first demo, and will allow players to arrange ten-minute matches with offered teams – Manchester United, AC Milan, Porto, Napoli, Santos and C.A. Panarol. Furthermore, you’ll be able to test the new control scheme in featured Challenge Training mode.
“The first PES 2012 demo will not be truly representative of the final game, so Konami will issue a second free demo reflecting the final version’s feel and gameplay in mid-September for the same formats. This will also offer 10-minute matches, but with a different team roster of Tottenham Hotspur, FC Bayern Munich, FC Internazionale Milano, Rangers FC, Club America and Sport Club Internacional,” said Konami.
An Arabic release was recently confirmed for PES 2012. Though, it’s unclear at this point whether the demos will carry Arabic support. We’ll keep you posted.
