Metro: Last Light gameplay video ‘Part 3’ shows train combat

By on August 11, 2011

After releasing the first and second portions of gameplay footage for the gorgeous-looking Metro: Last Light, publisher THQ rolled out the third and final part of the E3 demonstration.

The trailer seems to go into an intense gun battles that takes place across a dusky tunnel on a moving train, with Khan and Arytom being involved in a death-defying situation. And yes, visual fidelity is spectacular.

While the 4A engine looks absolutely stunning, the third trailer seems to also showcase a more fast-paced and action-packed side of the first-person shooter, as opposed to the grand atmospheric outing in Metro 2033. Still, it’s early to judge by an initial build of the game, which is particularly made for demo purposes.

A full 12-minute gameplay trailer will be unleashed on August 23.
