At $499, Sony’s 24″ 3DTV bundle that comes packaged with an HDMI cable, one 3D glass and a mint copy of Resistance 3 seemed like an incredible deal. However, the Japanese publisher seems to have had a change of mind of late.

Insomniac twitted over the weekend that Resistance 3 will no longer be offered with the 3DTV. Instead, the game will be replaced with Motorstorm Apocalypse.

“For those asking about the 3DTV bundle…Motorstorm: Apocolypse replaced Resistance 3. Sorry for any inconvenience.”

The 24″ 3DTV will retail sometime this year. In the UAE, it will cost approx. AED 2000.

How many HDMI slots will it have?

I am assuming it’s either 2 or 3 based on the official description:

“Easy connectivity to the PlayStation3 system, Cable TV box, and PC through the 3 inputs”. The PC input could either be a VGA or DVI.

Any idea where this would sell and when?
