Rumor: Crytek working on a new FPS IP

Comes at a cost of a third person shooter.
Internet’s snoop dogs Superannuation has dug up a LinkedIN profile which reveals that Crysis developer Crytek is currently working on a new first person shooter franchise.
The LinkedIN profile belongs to a gameplay programmer at the studio, which also suggests it being a multiplatform title (Xbox 360, PS3 and PC).
Apparently, the studio cancelled work on a third person shooter, tentatively titled Redemption, to work on the FPS.
