BioWare has stated that its upcoming sci-fi RPG, Mass Effect 3, will establish a “new beginning” for the trilogy, aside from ultimately wrapping up the story of Shepard’s onerous battle against the Reapers.

Chatting with the folks over at CVG, marketing man David Silverman reassured BioWare’s plans to pursue on creating more projects for the franchise thereafter the outing of Mass Effect 3.

“We designed Mass Effect 3 to be a new beginning,” he said. “This series definitely doesn’t end with Mass Effect 3.”

Silverman reiterated the studio’s plans in pouring its best effort to date in order to yield a must have experience in action- RPG’s latest.

“We’re making Mass Effect 3 to be the best game we’ve ever made. That would make it one of the best games ever, and we’re hoping to see sales that reflect that,” he said.

Mass Effect 3 has a solid release window of March 9, 2012.


Other than his excessively biased enthusiasm toward gaming, and technology behind the whole industry, there's a huge fondness inside that drives him nuts to pick up his keyboard and start writing for the love of it.
